| Herend is a world-famous town renowned for its fine Porcelain. When you arrive, you will be given a guided tour through this exclusive world of Hungary’s largest porcelain manufacturers which was founded in 1826. After coffee in the 'Porcelanium' and time for shopping, you are then taken to the Tihany Peninsula, a renowned and famous nature reserve as well as a beautiful, quaint village overlooking the splendid waters of Lake Balaton. Your tour also includes an interior visit to an ancient Abbey founded in 1051. Afterwards, lunch at a Csarda, a traditional Hungarian eating house for a 3 course menu with wine (the price lunch not included). To complete your tour, we then take you to Balatonfured, one of the region's oldest spas, with its excellent promenade where you can enjoy the shops and watch the many entertainments provided throughout the high season. Then, back to Budapest where the tour ends.
