Tuba Farm can be found at the edge of Hortobagy, 5 km far from Hajduszoboszlo.

The more than 100 year old farmhouse is furnished as a museum, which reflects the atmosphere of the old times and the whole homestead was built according to this pattern. Guests can get to known traditional clothing and early gastronomy. Meals prepared in a stew-pot, in the oven, as well as dishes fried and boiled on open fire remind guests of the flavour of early times. We organize events in the homestead’s restaurant with place for 65 guests. The dinner accompanied by group programmes takes a couple of hours. During the dinner traditional folk dresses, folk practices, folkdances, as well as an original zither band make the evening even cosier.

The guesthouses reflect the traditions of bio-architecture. They are built from loam and covered with read roof – which guarantees a cool room temperature in summer – and decorated with original farmer furniture. The many wood carvings faithfully mirror the traditional Lowland architecture.

A folk souvenir shop can also be found on the Tuba Homestead, in which guests can choose from Hungarian folk articles, as well as goods connected to the homestead itself. The calmness and the quietness of the Tuba Homestead give relaxation to its guests in every month of the year. The homestead lies currently on a 5 hectares area, from which 2.5 hectares is a structured park that serves the relaxation of the active guests.
